Today it’s 36 years since Elvis died and his importance for rock music is undeniable. But he also made a big impact on the evolution of music videos. Almost all of his movies had the focus on the music numbers and there was many creative ways of showing Elvis perform his songs. An early example is the graphical “Jailhouse Rock”.
